TC Teal Zeal

Vivid neon yellow-green corallites ring every branch, flaring open in tight rosettes against a deep teal-grey body that stays half-hidden beneath a dense coat of fine grey-green polyps. Under blue light the corallite rims go fluorescent while the tissue between them holds cool and dark, and that contrast is what carries the piece — bright rims scattered across a moody teal base.

Short, stubby branches rise from a broad encrusting foot, tenuis-like in habit. Grown and fragged here in our Toronto facility.
