Deep violet-blue lobes are dusted with countless fine polyps, giving the whole coral a velvety, speckled texture under blue light. Bright white-green growth tips glow at the tip of each thick, knobby branch. It builds a compact, digitate colony, and the rich purple runs edge to edge without a break.
