An electric blue encrusting base is scattered all over with red-orange to pink polyps, each one a raised, star-shaped burst that catches the light. The dense field of warm polyps against the glowing blue tissue gives the meteor-shower look head-on. It spreads flat and low across rock and plug, keeping its color contrast as it encrusts.
