Delicate, thin branches form a dense bushy thicket, colored deep magenta-purple under the actinic light. Fine corallites cover every branch, their raised openings tipped in pale cream that speckles the whole colony. New growth tips fade to pale blue-white. A thin-branched carduus acro that reads rich magenta with cream-flecked corallites.
