Earns the goldenrod name from thin, twiggy branches in bright golden-yellow, each dotted with small corallites ringed faintly in lavender. The growing tips fade to pale blue-white, and the whole colony spreads open and airy rather than dense. A fast-growing brancher that reads pure glowing yellow under actinic light.
