Branching Cyphastrea is a striking form of cyphastrea that grows upward into short, knobby branchesrather than the typical encrusting mat. This specimen displays a cool blue-violet base densely packed with hot pink to neon magenta polyps, each with a bright, glowing center that pops intensely under blue-spectrum lighting. The tightly clustered polyps give the coral a plush, almost floral texture, while the branching growth adds height and dimension rarely seen in this genus. Thrives in low to moderate light (PAR ~80–150) and gentle to moderate flow, making it an excellent contrast piece among SPS or on lower rockwork. Hardy, slow-growing, and visually unique, Branching Cyphastrea offers standout color and structure without demanding SPS-level conditions.
