Prominent flared corallites stud every branch, each raspberry-magenta cup capped with a pale lavender-white center for a beaded, jeweled texture. Fine yellow-green radial polyps fuzz between them, and the overall colony reads deep raspberry-violet under blue light. Branches grow thick and knobby, tightly clustered with corallites.
