Densely packed corallites in hot pink and magenta cover the branches, each mouth opening to a pale lavender-violet center ringed by fine red polyp fuzz. Green base tissue peeks through between them. Under blue light the coral reads mostly saturated pink, the corallite openings glowing pale and cool against the warm body.
