Deep sky-blue runs uniform across the whole colony, from the twisting branches to the tightly packed, tubular corallites that stud every arm. The tortuosa growth forks and doubles back irregularly, and the raised corallites give the surface a bumpy, beaded texture. Paler teal-blue catches at the tips, but the color stays a true, saturated blue rather than washing out.
