Slender branches bristle with outward-flaring tubular corallites, the echinata trait that gives this piece its spiky silhouette. Color runs mint-to-teal green with cooler blue-lavender tips, and a few soft pink flecks surface near the branch bases. Under strong actinic lighting the whole colony glows an icy sea-green.
