Orange Acan Echinata – Intense Color, Fierce Personality
The Orange Acan Echinata is a true standout in the LPS world—featuring a fiery orange to molten tangerine base, often marbled with deep red, violet, or teal streaks, and accented by raised, jagged ridges that give it a wild, rugged look. It’s bold, aggressive, and absolutely electric under actinic light.
Unlike the rounded, fleshy lordhowensis acans, this Echinata has a more textured, plating-to-encrusting growth, spreading slowly with deep skeletal ridges and a flame-like appearance. It thrives in moderate light and low to moderate flow, and adds serious attitude and saturation to any LPS or mixed reef zone.
