I have been using AquaWiz for over three months now. I have Gen 2 and Gen 3 versions. Overall experience is good. I had to replace PH probe to more reliable Neptune one as the original were giving me wrong KH reading off by 1.5 dkh. Also it is important to maintain the right level in PH tubes. Instructions need an improvement. But the idea behind this little gems is bright. Overall I am satisfied.
Have been using the ‘wiz for about a month now. Monitoring and dosing Red Sea alk for stability. Has remained +\-0.1 with my Hanna as I check periodically. Very happy with it so far.
So glad I talked to Dimitry about the aquawiz. A true lifechanger. Now just set it and let it manage my dkh perfectly with the doser.
I initially held back with the gen 3 because I thought the yellow looked cheap. Now gen 4 blue I can tell you it is well made, doesn’t feel cheap, and so far has worked great! I did have to calibrate it to what my Hanna checker indicated because it was reading low right out of the box but after that it has been rock solid. Highly recommend!
First - Dimitry is a great seller to buy from. I only wish I could tap into his acro stash, but there is this Mason Dixon line that prevents that from happening. For those of us in the states who are clearly about buying from across the border, I would not hesitate to purchase from Dimitry if I were you. I have received my package, legitimately, as fast as I do from BRS, and I don't think Dimitry would put 50 pounds of salt on T5s like others do :) I give Dimitry 5 starts personally, as his communication is stellar.
About the AquaWhiz, you can see it in action on my Insta @thedryreef . This is outperforming my Alkatronic. I just ordered the CARX bolt on from Dimitry. I am so sold on this unit that I am going to use the AquaWhiz and the CARX bolt on for my new 160G grow out system that is coming online soon. Make sure the unit is level, left to right and front to back. I did not check front to back and had to reset the water volume in the tubes as it was leaning forward and I didn't have enough water in them. Per feedback from their Facebook usergroup, with people from the company instantly responding, I let it run for 7 days then calibrated it to my hanna. The unit is ROCK STEADY. It continues to maintain about a .10 delta between my Trident and my Hanna. Eventually I am going to sell my Alkatronic and purchase a second unit for my 525G main display system. Great Product!!!!! In my pic, DKH is the AquaWhiz. Look at my Teident compared to the AquaWhiz.
